In the middle of our holy season of Advent, we decided to check in with our Jewish brothers and sisters to learn more about their holy holiday. Brad has, thank God, been able to spread his message of peace and plurality in a moment where it is is perhaps easier to rise to anger and frustration. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two young children, trail-running and bordrrs, playing, or watching soccer.

I also know most of us have very little extra money to give away.
It was not all simply engaging study and joyful connections though there was certainly an abundance of each bordesr our intense days of study and discussion. She challenged us to show up, to step up, to declare what is the Torah we have to share and who we are sharing it with.
We had to work through this as well. These colleagues, and hopefully many new friends, are doing a lot of exciting work. I have two more face-to-face gatherings with this group during the year as well as webinars and other ongoing engagement and dialogue.
I am FOR access to quality education and clean drinking water for all. And here are some images from the gathering: We were living the challenge of our diversity and there was a particular morning prayer that most of the women rabbis experienced as exclusive and off-putting.
