When i set the resolution to x screen just fill the whole widescreen and looks distorted. It’s not coming from them, but 3rd party will fix it just like with ds1 and ds2. So in most cases it’s an easy fix. Do not discuss cheats. The advantage is miniscule. I’ve never played on

Bet you’re real proud of yourself. So if daark have an ultrawide monitor, or any monitor with a larger ratio than Last edited by Santori ; Apr 12, 4: Especially the large quantity of folks who play Dark Souls for the meat of the game, PVE, and move on.

You get black bands at the top and the bottom and are given an even lower Please read the full community rules and guidelines. This is so stupid, the fact that your GPU has to render all of the pixels only to be covered by black bars is just stupid. It doesn’t occur to you that when they say “Minimum Requirements”, they’re talking about playability, but when they say “Recommended Requirements”, they’re talking about what is recommended for all features, including fairness? That’s all that matters.

It’s never coming, mate. If a level playing field is what people really want, then the console version is the best bet. Some geospatial data on this website is provided by geonames. If it’s contemplated at the right stage of development, it’s actually very easy to implement. People actually cheating with hacks and all that is far more of a real problem than having a bit more of the world drawn on the sides. I can clearly see how much you trust Fromsoft. I works like a charm and runs at 60 fps all the time maxed out on a octacore Xeon and a ti.

I have to use video editing soft to crop those black borders and re-render every video to x resolution and it takes around 40 minutes before it is done on my i5 FYI in some games take FFXIII for example all you had to do was use cheatengine to search for some values representing the aspect ratio and change them in order to get Personally I think this is more a case of From Software doing their usual and treating the PC as a lower priority, ignoring a lot of the benefits and reasons people enjoy the PC over the console.

When it comes to PvP I had no advantage over any of my opponents, I never saw them in the far corners of my screen, nor did it save me from gravity at any point which I was hoping it would.

Here’s to the computer literate and savvy folks who may be able to remove these horse blinders from the game. Started the game and randomly had LoL bans people for 2x zoom mods because it lets them see more, but lets people play at He’s right in saying it’s a non-issue. FoV is such a non issue in Souls games The game is, in fact, rendering out the entire monitor, regardless of the resolution.

It is one more line of code This is really unfortunate, as I would have considered buying an Acer Predator X34 with gsync, but since I mostly play Souls games, this would be an absolute waste.
